How a CCTV Survey Is Carried Out

Access and preparation
We locate the chambers serving the run and, where debris or standing water would obscure the camera, clean the pipe first so the footage is usable.

Camera inspection
A survey camera is fed through the run, recording the pipe wall, joints and connections while distances are logged so any defect can be pinpointed later.

Identifying defects
Cracks and fractures, displaced joints, root intrusion, collapsed sections, standing water indicating a dropped pipe, scale build-up and cross connections.

Report and recommendation
You receive the footage, still images of anything found, a written description of where it is, and costed options only where remedial work is genuinely needed.
A survey finds the cause; it does not fix it
The value of a survey is evidence. If the footage shows a fractured joint or displaced section, drain repairs put it right; where the pipe still holds its shape, drain relining can seal it without excavation; where roots have taken hold, root removal clears them before the entry point is sealed.
